Then early 2020 out of the blue I got a message from him. He talked about how one of my songs Can You Hear the Sound defined an important moment for him and would I be OK if he created his own song out of it Of course I said There are many different ways to gauge success and when an artist likes your song enough to want to recreate, cover it, Im taking that as a big fat win Later that year I worked up the courage to ask him if he could play some guitar on one of my new songs. A few weeks later, not only did he send me a guitar track, but also vocals with perfect harmonies and effects, acoustic guitar AND some keyboards. So much more than I was expecting The guy
