Han, a lifelike humanoid robot from Hanson Robotics at the Global Sources Mobile Electronics show
Hanson Robotics, creator of humanlike robots and smart software, introduced Han at the Global Sources Mobile Electronics show held in Hong Kong at the Asia World Expo from April 1821, 2015. Han is the companys newest lifelike humanoid that can react to facial expressions, engage in conversation and even make eye contact. Hanson uses a skinlike material called Frubber on their robots, which looks and feels like human skin. Frubber is a core silicon material that was invented by Dr. David Hanson, the founder of the company. Grace Copplestone, Product Manager at Hanson said humanoid robots could soon be helping out in the hospitality, entertainment and medical industries.
