Having recently acquired a Hamilton dueling pistol replica, Adam Savage was thrilled when the MET s Arms and Armor conservation lab associate conservator Sean Belair brought out this artifact dating back to 1690. But, this being the Metropolitan Museum of Art, this isn t JUST a firearm made by Matteo Cecchi, the most gifted member of the famed Acquafresca family of gunmakers. .. it also conceals a SECOND weapon inside.
