This video was made in the middle of the lockdown on 22 May 2020 when the only way for an artist to perform was via live stream. Opening the Gates is one of the very first pieces, I made for the augmented violin performance format. It signified the beginning of a new path in my artistic life as a violinist and composer and literally opened the gates into a new musical universe, which I m currently trying to build.
