NORAD exercise Vigilant shield 2016 U. S. and Canadian Forces conduct bilateral training out of Canadian Forces Base Goose Bay. Exercise Vigilant Shield 16 is an annual event designed to increase effective NORAD interoperability between the U. S. and Canada to bolster air space defense of the North America continent.
