DC 3 Cargo Run ( Start to Finish) Anchorage to Takotna, Alaska

I m finally just now getting around to sorting through footage and photos from my years as a DC3 copilot (4 years ago ). Around this time I had just separated from active duty military to pursue college and kick start my flying career. In doing so found myself as in the right seat flying alongside a great man in a historic aircraft. He and I would go on to become good friends from this summer experience spent as crew on a legendary DC3. (FINALLY ) A video with the pure majestic sound of those two Pratt Whitney You re welcome, This was a cargo charter from Anchorage to the small village of Takotna near McGrath. Wasn t the best at recording footage, but would I did take I tried to capture the sights, the feels and the work required to fly such and airpane. I knew many more flying jobs would follow and memory one day would become a blur, so what better way to preserve these memories than a camera Enjoy.
