KISS Soundcheck in Milwaukee on 5 11 22
I finally got the opportunity to see KISS on my fourth try. The first date was canceled due to the pandemic. The second date was canceled due to Paul and Gene testing positive. I did buy tickets for their Vegas residency which was also canceled. I was very happy but skeptical about this date being rescheduled but I had my fingers crossed. As we got closer to the date, I decided to attend soundcheck as I wanted to get the most out of their Milwaukee visit. Absolutely no regrets. I was leaning on the rail in the first row for the entire soundtrack, caught a pick and enjoyed this once in a lifetime private performance for about 60 of us. The band played five songs that they do not play in their setlist and did a brief Q A session at the end. The band sounded very tight. It s great to see them perform without the make up and costumes and they prove that they are just a great rock n roll band underneath all the theatrics. I did some research in my AQ Music fashion to bring some KISS music history education to us
