Washboard Sam pokes some goodnatured fun at the old man who is so tired from work its gonna take the wife the whole night to wake him up. James Beale Street Clarks version (47) rather gives us the blues of the hard working man too tired for recorded as Too Late Old Man Lee Tuggle 55.
