Thick smoke from raging wildfires have blanketed large areas of Shelburne Countys Sandy Point and Barrington Lake in Nova Scotia, Canada. Local authorities have described the wildfire as the largest in the regions history. Over 20, 000 hectares have been burnt and flames reached a height of nearly 100 meters.
