Le Corniaud, Sce ne de laccident Elle va marcher beaucoup moins bien
Le duo comique magique du cinéma français de l époque. Le face à face Bourvil, de Funès dans une scène désormais d anthologie. Le Corniaud est un film comique francoitaloespagnol réalisé par Gérard Oury, sorti en 1965. Son scénario s inspire d un des épisodes du démantèlement de la French Connection , l affaire Jacques Angelvin, un présentateur de la télévision française qui fut arrêté aux ÉtatsUnis en 1962 au volant d une Buick Invicta provenant de France et dans laquelle plus de cinquante kilogrammes d héroïne pure avaient été dissimulés et qui clama son innocence en prétendant avoir été dupé. Antoine Maréchal, le corniaud du titre qui se révèle être moins naïf qu il n y paraît, est interprété par Bourvil, alors à l apogée de sa carrière, tandis que Léopold Saroyan, le gangster, est joué par Louis de Funès, qui à cette époque connaît une fulgurante ascension, notamment depuis les sorties des films Le Gendarme de SaintTropez et Fantômas en septembre et novembre 1964.
