Noël Van T End finally put the Dutch athletes back on the Champions table with the first World Championships gold in a decade, exactly to the date when Marhinde Verkerk took the title on home soil in Rotterdam. His incredible, showstopping gold medal in Tokyo was in itself, a lifetime achievement but making it even more special was his triumph in the home of judo.
