Blumarine: Bright Colors, Holograms and Metallics for Fall 2012 Milan Fashion Week, Fashion TV
SUBSCRIBE: br MILAN Blumarine designer Anna Molinari is frequently known for adding life to the Milan Fashion Week runway, with bright colors, bold fabrics and models who look like they re heading to a party. With the current dark, romantic themes currently pervading Milan Fashion Week, this is especially evident and particularly promising this Fall, Winter 20122013 season. Molinari always sets herself apart and we love her for it. She began with five Mongolian lamb coats in striking colors like neon yellow, electric blue, hot pink, fuchsia, and bright orange. Still, the collection itself was all about shiny metallics and hologram effects. This came through on puffer jackets and vests, pants with sequins, and shiny silver hoods. Of course, she made sure to throw in her bright white winter looks (her Blugirl label had some of the same), leopard prints for a few outfits, and fur was part of the package, if only here and ther
