360 Ride Through an Electron Beam Irradiator (360 0030 Stitch XHC)

Beam parameters: 2. 6MeV, 5mA A gear 360 camera is shielded from xray and electron bombardment and sent through the Neobeam irradiator. There is a 5 diameter 1, 8 thick lead umbrella over the camera to shield the camera from direct electron beam bombardment and a 1, 8 spherical lead jacket around the gear 360 with cutouts for the lens. There is no lead glass shielding over the lenses so xray noise increases significantly near the beam.
