Mount Adams Climb, October 2018 Washington State
At 12, 276 feet, Mount Adams is the second tallest mountain in Washington state. Native tribes call this dormant volcano Pahto, which means the one that rises high up. Its slopes are covered with loose volcanic rock created by numerous pyroclastic flows which can be easier to climb when blanketed by ice and snow.
