Andy Hardy Gets Spring Fever (1939) Lewis Stone Mickey Rooney

In the small town of Carvel, Judge James Hardy (Lewis Stone) learns from a chemist and promoter that a plot of land always considered worthless is actually rich in bauxite, a mineral used to make aluminum. After verifying the claim, the judge urges his friends and neighbors to invest in the land with him. Meanwhile, the judge s teenage son, Andy (Mickey Rooney), falls for a new teacher after getting dumped by his girlfriend. Both the judge and Andy learn that things aren t what they seem.
