A Change Is Gonna Come

Ive had many encounters with racism. Physical ones, along with ones related to my journey in the music industry. Over the years Ive written and rewritten letters and songs to address my thoughts on those encounters. For a number of reasons, I never shared them at the time. Instead, like the majority do, I chose to grit my teeth, dig deeper, work harder, set the ever elusive example. Im not sure thats always been the best decision. Racism is a difficult and very layered topic to unravel, but one that definitely needs to be. Its nice to see the world trying to address it in some way. If we can keep the conversation going well get there. I sang this one a couple of days ago. Thought Id share it. A little live vibe to pass the time.
