1991 Mc Laren MP4, 6 F1 Sound Honda 3. 5 V12 Engine Screams at Goodwood

This car was on my must film list for a couple of years so far and now I can be enough happy to have recorded it. I said enough happy because I didn t fully appreciate the real sound of this car because I m quite sure the two drivers have been forced to change gear very soon (20003000 rpm before the actual red line) but you can enjoy a couple of shots where the sound is really on point (1:00, 1:57 and 2:46). The 1991 McLaren MP4, 6 is powered by a Honda 3. 5litre V12 engine which was able to produce 720 hp at 13, 800 rpm with a red line at 14, 800 rpm. This particular one is chassis number 10 and it s the only MP4, 6 fitted with a fully functional Spec3 version of the RA121E V12 engine.
