Amateur Wine Making (1958)
Tewin, Hertfordshire. L, S of a garden with lots of pink and red flowers, Mrs Bessie Dodd enters the frame carrying a small wicker basket with red rose petals in. She starts to pick some more petals from the roses. M, S of her picking the petals and putting them in her basket. C, U of the roses with her hand coming in and picking them. C, U of her face, there are pretty flowers in the background. M, S as she finishes picking the petals and walks away. The narrator suggests a few things that could be done with rose petals once they have started to fade, like throwing them at weddings or pressing them in books. Interior. C, U of another basket on a table, this one contains lots of bramble tips, hands are seen picking through the leaves and breaking some off. M, S to reveal the hands belong to Mrs Peggy Johns, who is putting them into a large pan.
