This quilt was designed to show support for Alzheimer s Awareness Month and is dedicated to Jenny s sweet motherinlaw, Irene Doan, who lost her life to Alzheimer s in 2000. Missing You combines elements from two quilts that were also created in Irene s memory: The applique flower blocks are made with the same petals as our Forget Me Not quilt, and the 36patch blocks come from Goodnight Irene. Of course, Jenny has a clever trick to whip up those 36patches at lightning speed, and the appliqué petals are made easy with our Missouri Star Petal Template.
