AMATEURS AT WEMBLEY The featherweight final of the ABA Championships was won by Peter Brander (Slough) when he defeated Percy Lewis of the RAF. The lightheavyweight final was won by Masservy of the Royal Navy. TURPIN V FINCH Dick Turpin (Leamington) met Albert Finch (Croydon) at Nottingham for the Middleweight Championship of Great Britain and the Lonsdale Belt.
