This is NOT a review of the Neural DSP Quad Cortex, Secret Weapons Demo NOT Review
What does it take for me to love an all in one solution I have used nearly every single all in one over the I first starting playing live on the Line6 PodXT Live back in the dark ages, I ve gigged extensively with the Kemper, and I ve sat down in studios with AxeFX and the Boss systems over the years. I find that, at the end of it all, I didn t like any of them. But it s not an indictment of sound, necessarily. I am a sucker for a strong, clean workflow and that might be the thing that does the MOST to set the Quad Cortex apart. It s the first of these systems that I enjoyable to use. Thats a big deal because I would have settled for acceptable but here we are. The QC boasts a smooth, flexible workflow and an absolutely great set of sounds. But the biggest deal is that capture system, which we scratch the surface of here. Again, this is NOT a deep dive or a review. This is somewhere between a first impressions and something else. I hope it s helpf
