Sachiko M makes a longawaited return to OTO following two stunning residencies here with Otomo Yoshihide in 2010. Working with a stark sonic palette that consists entirely of sine waves, Sachiko M s radical stance consistently draws interest and provokes debate. Since 1998 she s been active on an irregular basis in a number of projects, including the experimental electronic music duo Filament with Otomo Yoshihide, the electronics trio a duo with Toshimaru Nakamura, and the duo Cosmos with Ami Yoshida. Also on the bill is Eddie Prévost founder of the essential AMM, and collaborator of the greatest improvisers internationally since the 60 s and a trio of violinist Angharad Davies, saxophone and clarinet player Johan Arrias, and pianist Lisa Ullén.
