First World Dream Mega Block Floats Out
The video below shows the floatout of the first mega block of World Dream, the new cruise ship being built for Asian cruise line Dream Cruises at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. The 151, 300 gross ton newbuilding is scheduled for delivery in fall 2017, according to Meyer Werft. With a length of meters and a width of 37. 9 meters, the new ship will be able to accommodate 3, 300 passengers. World Dream will be a sister ship to Genting Dream, which was delivered in October this year. Designed for the rapidly growing Chinese market, Genting Dream debuted in November 2016 and sails out from Hong Kong or Guangzhou.
