Utterly Lavish A film by J. Kim and Aisultan Seit
Utterly Lavish is a visual study on women s visibility and freedom of expression. Drawing inspiration from images of Uzbek women and their sensitivity, Jenia Kim and Aisultan Seit have merged the visions into a film providing a glimpse on a perception of beauty beyond the canons in the globalising world. The film combines traditional visual elements with a love for Baroque, blending textures, colors, and intense images of Tashkent with avantgarde sounds, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in a series of views dedicated to capturing the subtle emotions of a stealing beauty that reveals itself in their character and love of abundance.
