This is the story as written by James Sweeney aged 12 from St. Eunan s National School, Raphoe, Co. Donegal and is about Tom the Pole, Tom Crean the Antarctic Explorer s life. Tom is a young boy in Kerry and decides to join the merchant navy to see the world. The animation shows all the ships Tom worked on and where he journeyed to.
