How to Sew a Skillet Handle Potholder

Hello If you cook with cast iron skillets, then you probably love to use a skillet handle potholder. Its a skillet handle cover to be used while cooking on the stovetop to protect your hands from burning on the hot cast iron. The cast iron pan I use has a 5 inch long handle. The measurements I share in the video fit my handle perfectly. If yours is a different size, adjust your cutting measurements accordingly. You need two coordinating, 100 cotton fabrics and two separate battings. In the video I use one piece of InsulBright batting and one piece of cotton batting. This combination helps to create protection from the heat of the skillet. This is a quick little sewing project. This would make a great gift for any cook, experienced or newbie.
