Clairvoyance To The Sky (1992)
, Electronic, MinimalSynth, Synthpop, Germany Extract from the tape From A Different Point Of View, not on label, selfreleased (1992) Growing up in the 80 s I was heavily influenced by the music and the lifestyle of this time, especially by New Wave and later Dark Wave, EBM and to some extend Gothic. Hard to select band names as there were many, just to give you a picture I would like to mention Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, Human League Heaven 17, OMD, Yello, Kraftwerk, Anne Clark, Fad Gadget, Front 242, Wolfsheim, The Cure and Sisters of Mercy. So I started to make music together with my friend Diemo, but never with the aim to copy one of the idols, but to create something different that transmits the same style spirit. But after 2 tapes we decided to go in a complete different direction and founded the ElectroIndustrial band Mental Obsessions (although we preferred to call our style structured noise). So Clairvoyance became history until I started again writing songs beeing influenced by the 80s
