He is also the director of the Institute for New Culture Technologies. Since 1979 he published several works for sound installation and experimental intermedias. Monoton s first album called Monotonprodukt was written in 1980. It features psychacoustic soundscapes for electronic loops, hypnopulses and effects. His sound production can remind some works written by Conrad Schnitzler (Tangerine Dream, Kluster, Eruption) in the 70 s and Asmus Tietchens microtonal synthesized postmodernism. He recently published Blaumonotonprodukt (2006), an impressive album devoted to minimallysergic electronic textures. He is now considered as a legendary figure of experimental electronic pop music
