Not for us but for the beloved instruments we are playing The handpan is in great danger because the inventors of the Hang claim copyright and say all handpans are mere copies and should be illegal. We can only imagine what huge consequences this might have on the handpan world. Makers and resellers are already being stopped to make and sell handpans. At some point maybe even the public display of handpans (videos, concerts, workshops, etc. ) might be illegalized. Now this is what you can do. First of all spread the word. The greater the attention we get for this cause, the better. More people knowing about this will make it more difficult for PANArt to succeed and to destroy the handpan as we know it.
