Tablet Weaving Ply Splitting: A Tour of Linda Hendricksons Studio

Join me on a studio tour to see many examples of my tablet weaving and plysplitting, including baskets, wall hangings, scarves, jewelry, bands with pictorial and geometric images, tabletwoven pangrams illustrating historic scripts and fonts, and a few of my favorite textiles that I ve collected from around the world. You ll also get a peek at how things are set up for working and teaching: my work tables, a tabletwoven inscription band in progress, and the ropewalk where I make cords for plysplitting. My studio occupies the entire second floor of our home in Portland, Oregon. My husband converted an unfinished attic into this beautiful space, which has skylights, a ceiling which reaches 16 feet high, and the original wood floors.
