Taking over Syncrude operations will allow us to become much stronger: Suncor CEO
Last night, Suncor Energy announced that it will become the sole operator of the Syncrude project by the end 2021. The energy producer currently owns a 59 per cent stake in the joint venture alongside Imperial Oil and two other energy companies. The energy producer says the move would cut costs by 300 million.
