Ruth Luckasson, JD, Distinguished Professor at UNM, is coauthor of Intellectual Disability: Definition, Classification, and Systems of Supports She talks about the importance of the legal profession s understanding of all aspects of intellectual disability in both criminal and civil cases. She also addresses the unique problems individuals with ID and higher IQ face in the justice system.
