Ronald Frankau enters in familiar toff guise of top hat, tails and monocle. He throws his cigarette off camera, asking if someone can hold it until he s finished; it lands with a loud clang he says he always was a heavy smoker He says he always keeps his hat on because his hair is gloriously wavy, and he would rather get by on wit than on sex appeal; taking off his hat we see he is almost totally bald. He then sings a country boy song, wearing a scarf, scruffy wig and flat cap. The song is I m In Love With Susie, sung in a posh voice, despite the country boy costume and lyrics. At the end of the song he takes off his cap, then looks down to see it has turned into a huge hat (by a handy trick of the camera). With a bewildered expression he puts it on and walks off.
