Asa (Ikoi Hayase) lost her parents in a car accident. At the funeral Asa meets her aunt, Makio (Yui Aragaki) who had not seen her in many years. Makio became estranged from Asa s mother due to the constant berating Asa s mother levied on Makio for being different. As Asa struggles to process the loss of her parents, Makio suggest Asa start writing her feelings down in a diary and come to live with her. As the two live together they start to learn more about themselves.
