If you go down to the woods today, youre sure of a big surprise, at least if you live near Zolotaryovka, in the Lugansk Peoples Republic. The signs of an enormous explosion are unmistakable flattened trees, smoldering hunks of twisted metal, and a great big hole in the ground. But its what lies in the bushes thats more telling dozens upon dozens of USmade M777 artillery shells, still primed, abandoned after a Ukrainian convoy carrying an artillery platform was hit by Russian counterfire after being discovered hiding in the woods.
