Czech Republic started its 2013 IIHF World Champioship (Preliminary Round, Group S) with the right step, by defeating 20 Belarus on the ice of Stockholm s Globe Arena. Philadelphia Flyers s forward Jakub Voracek scored the first goal in the first period, and Phoenix Coyotes forward Radim Vrbata scored the second with 10 minutes left in the third period.
