15 year old Myanmar refugee singer Wan Yi hwa sings for Spring in Myanmar
You can watch this video at Hello everyone Im Sumi Yu from Korea Now. Today, Korea Now met this 15yearold Myanmar refugee girl Wan Yihwa, who is pursuing her dream as a singer in Korea. After Yihwas fathers sudden death, Yihwa came to Korea with her mother and two brothers in 2016 to get away from conflicts in Myanmar. Before coming to Korea, Yihwa already had a dream to be a singer as she was influenced by her father who was a famous singer among the Karen people. Yihwa didnt stop pursuing her dream to be a singer even after getting asylum from Korea, and her dream has fueled further after meeting her vocal trainer, manager Lee Kyungja at a singing contest in 2018. Yiwha became famous after appearing on a trotsinging competition program this year, and now she sings for the spring in her motherland, Myanmar.
