In 2020, our guest founded Mountainroad DSP and in November 2021 he released his first plugin, AlpHorn. Please welcome to The Place, Serge Courtois Originally from Luxembourg, Serge attended Berklee College of Music from 20072011 as a Music Production and Engineering as well as Drumset Performance major. He graduated summa cum laude and found his way to Los Angeles where he worked as a full time recording engineer at Igloomusic in Burbank. At Igloomusic he was involved in recording music for TV Shows (Californication, Revenge, Last Resort), as well as movies (Guardians of the Galaxy, Robocop) for one of which he also won a grammy (Birdman). His last year at Igloomusic, he was in charge of the voiceover department, recording Voiceover for clients such as Disney, Lucasfilm, Marvel, as well as computer gaming companies such as Bungie, Valve, Insomniac Games, Blizzard and many more.
