Liszt Impromptu, S191ii ( Cohen)

Considering the only other scored video of this work on YouTube contained a downright shameful performance, I thought it would be worth scoring the work with Arnaldo Cohen s intense rendition. The Impromptu (1872) stands on the threshold of the extraordinary avantgarde world of Liszts final years, and although the piece is cast in Fsharp, there is a colourful ambiguity in some of the harmonic movement. The revised version (played here) allows for a more effective climax, and a particularly serene ending.
