A Bath Recitals Production of Handel s Solomon on Saturday 22nd April 2023 at Bath Abbey. The first professional performance of Solomon in Bath since Handel s day. A Coronation Concert for the City of Bath to mark the anointing of King Charles III on the site where the first King of all England, King Edgar was crowned in 973. The Georgian Festival Chorale and St Woolos Sinfonia assembled in a day to rehearse and perform one of Handel s greatest oratorios under the baton of Artistic Director Daniel Robert Cushing.
