Ms. Una Mae Carlisle was a popular African American, Native American singersong writer during the 1930s, 40s and 50s. Born in Xenia, Ohio. She was discovered by Fats Waller and soon became famous throughout the United States and Europe. She Toured Worldwide, had her own radio show, and more. Tragically, she died at very young age. We love and miss her very much.
