Eisteddfod (1910 1920)
Eisteddfod Festival in Wales. Pan across park filled with people dressed in robes that look like they re from a biblical pageant. Man hands a twisted horn to another in big white robe standing on a platform; he makes gesture of drinking from it and hands it back, then he reads something to crowd. Procession of uniformed men playing drums and horns; then more people in robes; some men dressed normally but carrying a large banner or tapestry with emblems on it symbolising Wales. Four more men carry a large pillow on which rests strange item that looks like its partly made of twisted horns; possibly this is the Welsh griffin. Procession continues with more people in robes; also women dressed up in their finest. Shot of procession on a street, more shots of the marchers. CU four girls, two young women and two children wearing Welsh costume. Bit of sibling rivalry the larger of the 2 little girls pushes the other out of picture, a man pushes her back in, the women laugh. FILM A VIDE
