I ve never thought that I would miss this Russian Honey Cake so badly. It was one of my favourite cakes back then. So I made a few attempts to make it myself, but I must say, it was quite a disaster, until I stumbled over this recipe IT WORKED In the past few weeks I tried it several times and it was always a success It looks quite tricky at first sight, but it is nothing you cannot handle. I made this cake with homemade custard creme, but there are other options like sour creme or condensed milk creme. Homemade custard is very easy to make and you will need just a hanful of ingridients, which you always have at home While making this video I made more custard, then the original recipe showed. I like it extra moist But you can decide yourself.
