In this After Effects Tutorial, Ill show you how to grow a plant using only standard effects We ll begin this growing plant animation by creating and animating a stem. The stem will be growing through mask expansion. As the bottom of the stem is wider than the top, this easy method works perfectly. Then well draw the leafs with the pen tool and add them to the main comp. We ll animate the scale of the leafs, add a little bounce effect and position them in the timeline, so that they grow together with the stem.
