Haplopelma lividum ( Cobalt Blue) Mating

Interesting mating session. Female was very welcoming and responding to the males drumming and quickly coming out her hide. She chased him around for a while and finally got an insertion. Fortunately we managed to save the male, after the insertion she quickly got hold of his one leg but we where there and got him free. More info on the Tarantupedia
