Halstead, KS Severe Storm Damage 8, 6, 2019

A severe storm rapidly developed north of Wichita and lead to golfball sized hail and downburst wind gusts approaching 70mph which did some significant tree, powerline damage in the town of Halstead, a little town about 20 miles north of Wichita. This storm exploded within 20 minutes and caused the damage in Halstead. Damage included two power poles being blown down and blocking a street, a railroad crossing gate was damaged, and numerous tree limbs were downed across town, including a large limb on a house.
