Riley Moth
Tim Reynolds starting his recently completed Riley Moth for the first time. Gromit on the camera and Wallace in the car . The car is based on a Riley 9 chassis left over from the restoration of a saloon. It uses Riley axles with a vintage Rolls Royce gearbox plus an additional step up box. Engine is a 1930 Gipsy 1 from a Gipsy Moth. The engine has been uprated using Gipsy Major parts and high compression pistons, carburation is by 4 SU s. The build took approx 6 years of spare time.
