Svinfylking, Isataii Split (full split, 2023)

I first featured Svinfylking with their Hexenkult demo release, and Isataii is another project I have been intending to feature for too long without managing it so today I rectify that, in style For Svinfylking, this is just the second release besides that Demo from 2021, and the band have kept their concept to the whetstone, starting this split with sharply aggressively punkfired rawness, executed with primitive ferocity. For Isataii, this is their 20th release in total since the bands inception in 2021, and their anticolonial Native American themed atmospherics are a excellent complement; stretching the intensity out over more hypnotically charged tracks with riffs that cycle with a languorous pace despite the feral pace of the drumming and vocals ripping over the top.
