Trump secures release of last living American hostage in Gaza
The Hamas terror group said it has agreed to release Edan Alexander, the last living American hostage remaining in captivity in Gaza. According to a deal offered by mediators, the 21yearold would be released along with the bodies of four other hostages. Alexander has been held captive for 525 days and was kidnapped during the Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel. Alexander enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) after graduating high school, having lived most of his life in New Jersey. His father told LiveNOW from FOXs Josh Breslow that he was hopeful President Trump would be able to bring his son home soon, knowing he was the only American hostage believed to be alive.
