It was a good time filler, and a nice way to delve into the record collection. But due to the doom and gloom of the pandemic, there ended up being a hell of a lot of lonely, isolation themed songs on the tapes. Some of the most depressing mixtapes probably ever made, but a fitting soundtrack for all those hours hanging out in the backyard with the boombox. Id never really given Iggy Pops BlahBlahBlah much of a chance before. Then Isolation made it onto one of those mixtapes, and I became a little obsessed with it. What a great song. The time was right, and I just had to cover it.
